IMRAN KHAN

Monday, April 16th, 2012 at 6pm The Hostry, Norwich Cathedral

Imran Khan is senior partner at Imran Khan and Partners. He is best known for his representation of Doreen and Neville Lawrence, parents of Stephen Lawrence, through private prosecution, inquest and public inquiry into Stephen’s murder, which finally led to the Old Bailey trial and convictions in January of this year.

Imran Khan’s legal firm focuses particularly on “impact cases” – cases whose outcomes can lead to legal and social change.

He is a Higher Rights Advocate, has received many Honorary Doctorates, is Visiting Lecturer at South Bank University and has written and lectured widely on the issues of racism, human rights and criminal justice in the UK and Europe.
