Celebrate Nowruze.<\/div>\n

<\/span>In Afghanistan New Year\u2019s Day, Now-ruz, is also the first day of spring; <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Afghans considers Nowruz <\/strong><\/span>a symbol of hope, a new and fresh life. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Wild tulips and other plants start to bloom at this time of the year.<\/p>\n

This is a traditional celebration called the\u00a0Red Flower Festival<\/em> \u201cMaila e Gule Surkh\u201d<\/div>\n
Peace Volunteers continue to walk the walk . . .<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\"we<\/a>“Two young Afghan boys herding cattle in Uruzgan Province of Afghanistan were mistakenly killed by NATO forces yesterday.<\/p>\n
They were seven and eight years old.<\/p>\n
Our globe, approving of ‘necessary or just war’, thinks, “We expect this to happen occasionally.”
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore today, with sorrow and rage, we the Afghan Peace Volunteers took our hearts to the streets.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nWe went with two cows, remembering that the two children were tending to their cattle on their last day.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nWe are those two children.<\/span> <\/span>We want to be human again.”<\/span><\/div>\n
