I am writing to tell you about Bruce Kent’s visit to Norwich on Saturday 27 April 2013.<\/span><\/div>\n
The veteran peace activist is visiting Norwich as part of a national speaking tour he is undertaking throughout April.\u00a0 With the “Scrap Trident Tour”, Bruce is going from town to town across the UK, rallying the public to urge the Government to cancel its plans to spend over \u00a3100bn on new nuclear weapons.<\/span><\/div>\n
Bruce is urging everyone to join him in opposing this disgraceful squandering of public money on something that has everything to do with national\u00a0hubris and little to do with national security. Nuclear weapons are not an answer to\u00a0any threats we actually face.<\/span><\/div>\n
Bruce will be speaking at a public meeting in the Friends Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane, Norwich at 3pm.\u00a0 All are welcome. Admission is Free. Donations are welcome to cover expenses.<\/span><\/div>\n
Bruce will also be at the CND Stall outside St Peter Mancroft Church opposite the Forum from 11.30 to 1.30.<\/span><\/div>\n
