Each   November,   on<br \/>\nRemembrance Sunday, ceremonies are held to honour that bravery.<br \/>\nIt takes great courage too to refuse to \ue015ght if you are convinced that<br \/>\nwar is wrong, knowing that you risk disgrace, imprisonment, even<br \/>\nexecution.   And so, every year since 1982,  15th May has marked<br \/>\nInternational Conscientious Objectors\u2019\u2019 Day &#8211; commemorating those<br \/>\nwho   have   resisted   and   who   continue   to   resist   war,   especially   by<br \/>\nrefusing military service.<!--more--><br \/>\nAgain   next   Monday,   across   the   country,   events   will   be   held   to<br \/>\nrecognize the courage of conscientious objectors past and present<br \/>\nand to tell their stories.  Here in Norwich, on Hay Hill, a vigil will take<br \/>\nplace from noon until 1pm.
