10 Years of the War on Terror & Occupation of Afghanistan

[ September 30, 2011; 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. ] Norwich Stop the War Coalition is organising a vigil in the Forum amphitheatre from 6pm Friday 30th September calling for an immediate end to the war. It will include speakers, placards, poetry readings and possibly music. All wlecome to come along and support.

Sunday September 4th, Burston School Strike Rally,

August 6th Hiroshima day

[ August 6, 2011; 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. ] Norfolk Quakers invite everyone to join an open air Quaker Meeting, at the Feet of Sir Thomas Browne (Hay Hill next to Peter Mancroft) 11.30 till noon. This is a reflective event, starting with silence, where anyone who feels moved to is welcome to speak.

August 6th, Hiroshima Anniversary

[ August 6, 2011; 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. ] CND invites us all to gather at the Peace Pillar in Chapelfield Gardens near bandstand at 3pm to lay some flowers and to remember in silence. People are also welcome to bring readings
