Annual Hajj

The Sacred month of Dhul Hijjah 1432 AH, the last month of the Muslim year, began this year on October 28th.
The first ten days are those of Hajj the annual pilgrimage to Makkah with the high point being the ninth day or Yawm Arafah which commemorates the sacrifice of Ibrahim and Ismael may peace be upon them.

This is followed by Eid al Adha or the festival of the sacrifice, this year on Sunday 6th November, which then lasts for 3-5 days.
The Muslim community would like to take this opportunity to extend a greeting and message of peace to all those who are seeking and wanting this

The celebrations this year at UEA will be in the Congregation Hall on Saturday12th, more information and invite to follow.
