UNA LunchBox talk
Posted on | April 15, 2012 | No Comments
Dear Friends,
Just a gentle reminder of the this coming Friday 20th April in the Friends Meeting House in Upper Goat Lane, Norwich at 1pm.
The title of the talk is “Moving the Goalposts – Girls, Football and Reproductive Health in Kilifi, Kenya.”
The talk will be given by Dr Catherine Locke from the School of International Development at UEA. Dr Locke is a Senior Lecturer in Gender and Social Development. She has over 15 years experience in research, consultancy and training. She is also a director for “Moving the Goalposts” – a small charity that promotes gender empowerment through football for girls and young women in Kilifi, Kenya.
This should be an unusual and intriguing talk and I hope that as many as possible will attend the talk to find out more about it.
Best wishes,
Marguerite Finn
Vice Chair UNA Norwich & District Branch
