About The Film
On the dusty outskirts of Kabul, Salam father of six, a refugee inside his
own country, struggles against debt and lack of opportunities. The
intertwined experience of several residents’ voices gives perspective on
the harsh economic reality of everyday life in Kabul. With unique access
to the central characters the narrative weaves a picture of Kabul seldom
seen in news reportage. We witness a city at economic breaking point and
the people’s growing anger at its government and their western sponsors
Organized by Hazel Marsh LCS, UEA (hazel.marsh@uea.ac.uk) in
association with Norwich Stop the War Coalition.
Free admission. I hope to see you there.
