Conscientious Objection Day 15th May
An Exhibition, celebrating that 100 years ago, conscientious objection to military service was recognised as a human right, will be displayed in the Friends Meeting House from the 15th May until the end of the month.
Come on the day itself, at 12.15pm and view the local archive material, posters and photographs – witnessing the hardships so many suffered for their pacifist principles.
Then join us at 1pm for a bring & share picnic beside the Peace Pillar in Chapelfield Gardens.
