“Nepal in Need”.

Dear Friends,

UNA Norwich are very pleased to welcome Dev Ghimire and Gyaljen Sherpa to talk about the charity “Nepal in Need”.  Gyaljen is one of the founder members and will talk about how Nepal In Need helped the traumatised people of Nepal recover and rebuild from the two recent disasterous earth quakes.   The charity organised and funded a four-man specialist surgical team to travel from the James Paget Hospital in Norfolk to a hospital in Kathmandu. They provided orthopedic surgery for those people most seriously injured in the earth quake.

The mission of Nepal In Need is to help the mountain people of Nepal with primary health care, education and the provision of basic utilities in order that they lead better, healthier and more enriched lives.

The talk is at 1pm in the Friends Meeting House on Friday 15th July. I hope to see you there.

best wishes,

Marguerite

Vice Chair UNA (Norwich & District)
