Dear Friends Our next UNA LunchBox talk will be in the Friends Meeting House in Upper Goat Lane, Norwich on Friday 20 September 2019.  The meeting will start with our AGM at 12.30pm followed by the speaker’s talk at 1pm.   Our speaker this month is Professor Tarcisio Gazzini  from the UEA Law School will talk about “The UN Charter as a living, legal instrument”.  In this troubled world and with UN Day coming up on 21 September, this is a very timely talk and should prove of great interest.   Many governments choose to ignore the UN Charter which was designed to keep international peace after the second world war.  Professor Gazzini has taught at the Universities of Padua, Glascow and Amsderdam and has been a consultant for several governments on matters concerning public international law and foreign investments.  He has written extensively on several topics across international law, ranging from the use of military force to economic sanctions. I do hope you can come. Best wishes, Marguerite
