already over 200 Palestinians have been killed and over 1,500 injured, many very severely
of these many are women and children and at least 70% civilians
the Israeli onslaught is in revenge for the tragic killing of three youths
but this does not justify what is being done
those who killed the youths should be brought to justice
it is no excuse for this murderous collective punishment
please come to support this peaceful rally

Saturday 21st June, United Nations Association (UNA) are joining forces with Norwich CND to welcome Dr Rebecca Johnson to discuss the question “Can we scrap Trident and Ban Nuclear Weapons with a Global Treaty?”.

The USA has its Noam Chomsky; we have our Rebecca Johnson. Chomsky is famous as a linguistic expert, but is also well known as a political activist and a leading critic of U.S. foreign policy, arrested on multiple occasions for his anti-war activism. Rebecca Johnson is an international expert and adviser on disarmament, with a number of important books and papers to her credit. She cut her teeth on the rigours of camping at Greenham Common in the 1980s.
Dr Johnson is coming to Norwich on Saturday 21st June, to lecture on “Can we scrap Trident and Ban Nuclear Weapons with a Global Treaty?” at 11am in the Curve at the Forum in central Norwich. Read more

Our 9th annual event went very successfully
many people came to visit, take part in discussion, learn and exchange views
although this is not primarily a fundraising occasion
we still managed to raise £165 for St Martins Housing Trust
Phoenix Mile Cross Children’s Project
and the Gaza Trauma Clinic
and also £175 from sale of Palestinian products
We wish to thank the Forum Trust for yet again hosting this event
The Civic Office and Mayor for his visit
and all the many people who came as well

London Protest for the Global March

This protest is part of the International Global March to Jerusalem (GMJ)
and will assemble by the Israeli Embassy in London
on Saturday 7 June to protest against the
ongoing Zionist occupation of Jerusalem.
Join this peaceful protest to voice your concerns about
Israel’s ongoing violations against the Palestinians in Jerusalem,
Christians and Muslims alike. Jerusalem is the focal point
of the three Abrahamic faiths. This is largely disregarded
by Israel which continues its racist practices inside
Jerusalem which contravene UN resolutions and international law.
The protest will be addressed by prominent speakers,
including politicians, community/faith leaders and campaigners.
