DIRTY WARS

Posted on | March 2, 2014 | No Comments

FILM AT CINEMA CITY ON
MON 10TH MARCH 8.30PM &
WED 12 MARCH 1.00PM

Jeremy Scahill, investigative journalist and author of two International
Bestsellers – Blackwater, The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary
Army and Dirty Wars, the World is a Battlefield – has now co-operated in
making his last book into a new film.

This is a shocking expose of America’s covert foreign policy operations.
Military units (especially the Joint Special Operations Command , JSOC)
conduct missions in more than one hundred countries, engaging in targeted
killings, the snatch and grab of individuals and the direction of drone
and cruise missile strikes.
These secretive elite units operate with direct orders from the White
House with no oversight from US democratic institutions and no due process
to establish guilt or innocence of those targeted. While Bush used these
methods, Obama has expanded them exponentially.

This is a film not to be missed.
